Lin Zhu: Dance of Light and Shadow

Dance of Light and Shadow is written for Chinese orchestra. This dynamic work is woven together with fluid lines and driving rhythms. The modulations of the colourful themes from the different orchestral sections create an energetic scene contrasting light and shadow. The use of plucked instruments highlight the characteristics and charm of the Chinese orchestra.
