Koji Nakano:Spring Breathes IV Little Giant Chinese Chamber Orchestra /Chih-Sheng Chen / National Recital Hall, Taipei, Taiwan 2017.6.8. (commissioned work, world premiere)

Spring Breathes IV for Chinese musical instruments was composed during my artist residency at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts in the USA in 2017. It is a sound poem which portrays the change of landscape from winter to spring.

I composed Spring Breathes IV for Little Giant Chamber Chinese Orchestra (gCO) to be premiered as part of the MUPA-Taiwan concert at the National Recital Hall in Taipei, Taiwan on June 9th, 2016. It is dedicated to conductor Chih-Sheng Chen and the Little Giant Chamber Chinese Orchestra.
